Rhodonite is named after the Greek word for rose.
Rhodonite crystallizes in the form of masses, grains, and tabular crystals, sometimes with rounded edges. The colour range includes pink to rose red, brown-red, green yellow, and black. It often has black manganese oxide veins running through it, giving it a distinct appearance.

Rhodonite often has dark inclusions but the stone we have used here is the crispest, richest pink imaginable with hardly any grey at all. The colour is so lush it looks like sweeties from heaven.
The rose quartz is pinker than on the image and not dull at all, making the clear rose quartz pink simply sing next to the rhodonite.
For this reason I have named this necklace “heavenly love, physical happiness.”
It is a piece designed to heal the heart and bring abundant love on the physical plane.

Rhodonite, fossil agate & Bali silver necklace
This rhodonite is very pink with very few dark inclusions: a rare treat in itself. The image makes the colour look a little sharp, but in ones hand the hues are much more subtle than can be represented here.
Fossil agate is an amazing stone. I chose these particular beads due to their slightly uneven cut, the more common Chinese cut ones being smoother and more polished, but losing all of the superb natural layering affect. This fossil agate reminds me of
those pictures I did as a child where I layered on different coloured crayons and then scraped areas of wax away to create an image. Here the outer crust of black/grey stone has been worn away to reveal subtle shades of lighter grey and pink. It really is fascinating.
As a healing crystal fossil agate helps us to assimilate the past and access forgotten memories. agate is very protective. Coupled with the unconditional love offered by rhodonite this combination enables the wearer to meditate on past lives and family history or even visit ancient buildings while maintaining a strong sense of self and love for all that one encounters.
